Combat Veterans with PTSD Only!

My Combat PTSD is for combat veterans with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) only, not that you served in the military and have PTSD, but you physically deployed to a combat zone itself and were either land or sea based (in direct naval or air support), and you have PTSD as a direct result of your combat service. No exceptions! This community IS NOT for spouses, family or friends of veterans. Spouses, family and friends can find support at MyPTSD.com.

I've successfully quit weed and my Ativan habit. I've also signed myself up for a 10-week anger management course. Taking responsibility. Jul 9, 2012

Read up on Ativan withdrawal - guess like Jimmy said I shouldn't be quitting it cold turkey. I'll try a regimen of gradual decrease.

Almost fell off the wagon - if this is withdrawal it fucking sucks. But I stayed strong. One minute at a time, this can be done.

Day 2: 48 hrs without weed or Ativan. Nearly overpowering urge for Ativan but talked myself out of it. Have had anxiety but not panic.

Day 1: 24 hrs without weed or ativan. Reduced Seroquel to 50mg. Have headed off a couple of panic attacks with positive self-talk.

Weed tames the beast. It's the only thing that does.
