      Is there any way you can modify the forum software to prevent web crawlers (like Google) from accessing the messages / discussions? If you search Google for some of our forum names, most if not all messages on this forum will appear on the search results.

        If Google couldn't find the content, then how would you have found the website yourself? The forums are public with the exception if marked (Members Only) or such, denoting that forum cannot be spidered.

        You also control who accesses your profile based on your privacy settings, controllable from your profile settings page.

        I'm ok with it... though it depends on whether members like it or not. If they reject it, then I will remove it. If not... it can stay. I doubt they will reject it... but one never does know. Keep up the great work helping vets...

      I wanted to say thank you for creating a forum for vets with PTSD. There are a lot of forums about it but this has the best info and feed back. Glad I just really stumbled across it, it's been helpful. Your posts about this condition have help me to understand what's going on with me much better. Great Job!!! and well thought out.

        Yes, all the latest research data released actually goes against what pharmaceutical companies have had us believe about SSRI's and anti-depressants in general, especially with the treatment of PTSD, as it is a mood based depression, not a chemical depression, which is what an anti-depressant medication targets.
